Experimental Lateral Landing Computer with Inertial Stabilization.

Abstract

This report describes the flight test findings, recommendations, and performance levels achieved on an experimental lateral computer installed on KC-135 No. 53126 at Andrews Air Force Base. The text contained herein also defines the modifications to the system described in AFFDL-TR-71-97. Performance levels are identified throughout the text on analog flight recorder traces and from data tabulated in statistical histogram form. (Author)
