Preliminary Environmental Survey of Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant, Tyner, Tennessee, March 1976.

Abstract

A preliminary environmental survey was conducted at Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant (VAAP) from 22 to 29 March 1976. This report includes (1) a presentation of the data compiled from that visit and a thorough literature search of regional sources and (2) a discussion of the actual or potential environmental impact of operations performed at VAAP. Biological data gaps have been indicated and the potential occurrences of rare or endangered species have been discussed and documented where this information is available. (Author)
