Acoustic Spectrometry (Akusticheskaya Spektrometriya),

Abstract

Presented are methods for determining the dynamic condition of machines and mechanisms based on the frequency spectrum of the noise. Examples are given for the use of noise (oscillations) to diagnose defects in machines. Analyzed in detail in the book are the principles of the construction and design of the frequency spectrum analyzers used in acoustic spectrometry. Practical questions of spectrum analyzer design are elucidated. The book is intended for engineering and technical workers engaged in the diagnosis of machines without disassembly and the measurement of nonelectrical quantities using radioelectronic methods.
