Design Standards for Structural Steel Dolphins in Cohesionless Soils.

Abstract

Design standards for structural steel dolphins in cohensionless soils discuss soil characteristics, dolphin loads, rated capacities, and structural behavior for single and multiple-pile dolphins. Examples of design for rated force and energy capacities are given, together with the steel grades and stress levels, pile spacing and embedment lengths. (Author)
