Abstract

The Memorandum discusses the results of fatigue tests on three types of joint made with various fatigue resistant fasteners. The tests were carried out using both block programme and flight simulation loading sequences. The results are analysed and observations are made regarding the factors which influenced the fatigue lives of the joints tested. (Author)
