Comprehensive Survey Report on Trinity River and Tributaries, Texas. Volume 1. Main Report.

Abstract

This report presents the results of a comprehensive investigation of the problems associated with the water and related and resources of the Trinity River Basin. It defines a comprehensive plan for use and control of the flows of the Trinity River and its tributaries to the practical extent required to assure the economic and social well-being of the people of the region, state, and nation. The plan presented herein serves as a guide to the development and control of the basin's water and related land resources and is based upon analysis of detailed technical data and investigations reported upon in the various appendixes to this report. The elements of the plan recommended for authorization at this time were developed in consonance with the overall plan taking into consideration current and projected conditions and economic justification.
