Abstract
The purpose of this Appendix is to present procedures, projections, and basic economic data used in determining benefits that would accrue to a multiple-purpose water resource project in the Umpqua River Basin. The needs considered are those in the eight functional fields specifically recognized by Congress for water resource projects, plus those for preservation of desirable elements of the natural environment. This Appendix contains details on economic base, benefit evaluation, net benefit maximization, cost allocation, and repayments. For this analysis, 1985 was assumed for project year one. (Author)
