Color Terminal Development Study.

Abstract

A feasibility effort was conducted to determine the difficulties inherent in enhancing an existing dual-screen display terminal with color cathode ray tubes. Two high resolution color CRTs were acquired. Necessary monitor circuitry was modified from the original or developed, including a digital convergence concept. A mock-up (brassboard) was built and demonstration at a 525 TV line standard with text and graphics demonstration software. An Advent color projector was modified to accept high bandwidth color signals from the demonstration terminal. (Author)
