Tradeoff Study for a Head-Up Display in New Technologies.
Abstract
The application of new technologies to advancing the state-of-the-art in Head-up displays is investigated. Current technologies are evaluated. Advanced designs are proposed and tradeoffs conducted using various new display and optical technologies such as diffraction optics, fiber optics, and liquid crystals. (Author)
