Transaction Processing Operating System (TPOS).

Abstract

The Transaction Processing Operating System (TPOS) is a specialized system designed to control a subset of the total computer environment, on the Honeywell H6000 architecture, of Transaction Processing Application Programs (TPAPS). The TPOS system is designed to operate under Release 2/H of the General Comprehensive Operating Supervisor (GCOS), the General Remote Terminal Supervisor (GRTS) on the Network Processing Supervisor (NPS) and in conjunction with the Transaction Processing System (TPS). This report includes the user, site and program logic documentation. In addition, this report indicates specific usage of a monitoring and a debugging capability provided within the TPOS environment.
