Exact Solution to Lyapunov's Equation using Algebraic Methods.

Abstract

Being able to obtain the solution to the Lyapunov Equation is very important in many areas of Control Theory. By applying the usual methods of solution only an approximate solution can be obtained. In this thesis we present algorithms for obtaining the exact solution to Lyapunov's Equation, using Algebraic Methods. (Author)
