Standard Engineering Installation Package. AUTOSEVOCOM HY-11/HY-2 Alternate AUTOVON Access Configuration.

Abstract

This Standard Engineering Installation Package (SEIP) assists engineers, technicians, logistics personnel and project officers to engineer, install and standardize AUTOSEVOCOM FACILITIES FOR ALTERNATE ACCESS (local wideband/narrowband subscribers) into the AUTOVON SYSTEM. Document provides a system description along with information on the functions of the main components in this equipment configuration. Document also provides necessary drawings and list of applicable documents, to include necessary installation/modification instructions and bill of materials with which to accomplish system modification. The SEIP describes quality assurance inspections and gives sample forms to ascertain areas of responsibility, checklists, and certification. One section provides detailed test plan and checkout procedure and suggests the form for a technical acceptance record. The SEIP also contains a completion certificate that verifies the project has met all test criteria. (Author)
