The Toxicology of DMMPA. Part I. The Acute Effects of DMMPA,

Abstract

The toxicological properties of dimethyl morpholinophosphoramidate (DMMPA) have been examined in mice, rats and rabbits using a variety of criteria of toxicological responses. Nutritional, physiological, haematological and blood serum components were studied after DMMPA acute dosing. Macroscopic and microscopic pathology was also carried out. The maximum dose causing no pathological effects was in no case less than the LD(o) dose estimate, indicating the compound was remarkably free of pathological effect, and likely indicating the compound to be safe for acute exposures of small amounts to man.
