Proceedings: Lower Cost ECM Conference Held on 4-6 February 1975 at Dayton Ohio.

Abstract

The Lower Cost ECM Conference was organized by AFAL in response to a request from AFRDR to identify recommended research and development actions that would lead to lower cost modern ECM equipment. Conference objectives were: (1) isolate ECM cost drivers, and (2) provide a set of preliminary recommendations and action items which, if implemented, would help to reduce ECM acquisition costs. To meet these objectives, leaders in the ECM field, both from industry and the Air Force, were assembled in Dayton, Ohio for a three-day Lower Cost ECM Conference. This report summarizes their findings. In addition to presenting the moderator's reports from each of the ten conference panels, the report includes the recommendations of the executive steering committee. This committee was convened after the conclusion of the conference. Lists of conference members and executive steering committee members are included in the appendices. (Author)
