A Photoionization Study of Cluster Species Present in Gas Vapors and Those Created by Condensation in a Supersonic Molecular Beam.
Abstract
This interim report summarizes the results of studies on clusters sampled by and produced through a supersonic molecular beam sampling system. Photoionization cross section measurements were used to calibrate mass spectral ion signals and to study beam discrimination effects. Heats of formation data were obtained for clusters of carbon dioxide, methanol, methanol-d1, ethanol, and trifluoroethanol. (Author)
