Abstract

The report is divided into four sections covering coating materials and deposition, coating structure, orientation, and growth rates, coating properties (refractive indices and absorption coefficients), and future plans. The materials include sapphire; fluorides of lanthanum, lead, magnesium, strontium; thorium; silicon oxide, magnesium oxide; zinc sulfide, zinc selenide; lanthanum oxyfluoride.
