Abstract

This report contains the proceedings of a conference on the application of control theory to Navy problem areas. Papers are included on Navy and other Government program areas where control theory has been applied; and on the state-of-the-art of various aspects of control theory, including control, estimation, and identification. Summaries of panel discussions are included which address where control theory has been applied and where additional research efforts should be directed. (Author)
