105MM Howitzer Production Trade-Off Analysis

Abstract

This report addresses (a) the cost of producing XM204 Howitzers to replace the Army's current assets of M101A1 and M102 Howitzers, and (b) the potential net revenues (total revenues minus overhaul costs) of selling overhauled M101A1 and M102 Howitzers via Foreign Military Sales (FMS). For part (a), various mixes of XM204, M101A1, and M102 Howitzers were considered, and for part (b), various selling prices were considered.
