Movement of a Tilted Wing Near a Screen,

Abstract

Movement of a tilted wing under a free surface of liquid, and the movement of a tilted wing with optimum circulation distribution have been studied. The present work presents the results of the study of the effect of a screen on the hydrodynamic characteristics of a tilted wing. An examination is made of the linear problem of stable movement at a rate V sub zero and with an angle of attack alpha of a thin airfoil tilted at an angle beta to a plane solid screen. The problem was solved using the method of the potential of acceleration.
