The Kinetics of the Gas Phase Reaction of O(3P) with N2O5.

Abstract

Under conditions applicable to the middle stratosphere, the kinetics of the gas phase reaction between O(3P) atoms and N2O5 have been measured in a discharge-flow mass spectrometer by observing the N2O5 fragmentation pattern at various O-atom concentrations as a function of injector distance and reactor temperature.
