A Macro Analysis of DoD Logistics Systems. Volume 2. Structure and Analysis of the Air Force Logistics System

Abstract

This report on the second phase of Task 76-6 provides a basis for an aggregate logistics management indicator system for the Office of the Secretary of Defense. The Air Force logistics system was chosen as a prototype for a descriptive structure relating support activities to operational readiness. Relevant logistics data were then obtained and subjected to trend analysis to evaluate the significance of the structural relationships.
