Glide Path Augmentation with Inertial Flight Path Angle.

Abstract

A two segment approach configuration using inertially derived flight path angle to damp the glide path and upper segment approach paths is developed in the text. System performance in both head and tail winds is evaluated. Stability analysis is also presented on root locus plots for the capture and track modes. (Author)
