Bounds for the Set of Solutions of Functional-Differential Equations.

Abstract

Sets of systems of ordinary functional-differential equations with Volterra type functionals under sets of initial values are considered. Upper and lower bounds are constructed for the sets of all solutions. Classes of such problems are given where these bounds are optimal. The main tool is a Lemma of Max Mueller on inequalities. Also ideas from interval mathematics are used. (Author)
