An Evaluation of the Risk Management and Property Insurance Practices of Selected Private Colleges and Universities in Tennessee.

Abstract

This study addressed a problem that has become increasingly acute in Tennessee's provate colleges and universities in recent years: that of providing insurance coverage for educational facilities and contents at a reasonable cost. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the risk management and property insurance practices of those institutions and to recommend improved practices that might significantly reduce the cost of coverage.
