Charge-Transfer Interactions between Transition Metal Hexafluorides and Xenon

Abstract

Charge transfer transitions are reported for MF6 (M = W, Mo, U, Re, Ir) with Xe. The nature of the charge transfer complexes is discussed. Based on spectroscopic data new estimates of MF6 electron affinities are presented. (Author)
