Requirements-Driven Repair Scheduling System for Secondary Items.

Abstract

This report describes the Army's secondary item rebuild system and points out major problem areas during execution. Recommendations made are designed to alleviate these shortcomings and enable the depots to be responsive to MRC requirements. Additional emphasis is placed on reducing the Repair Cycle Time thereby decreasing the RO and annual buy. Recommendations are to be addressed in a subsequent IRO project. (Author)
