Proceedings of the ARPA/AFML Review of Progress in Quantitative Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE)

Abstract

The edited transcripts of the ARPA/AFML Review of Quantitative NDE held on August 31-September 3, 1976, at Asilomar Conference Facility, Pacific Grove State Beach, Calif., are presented in this document. Several key topics form the core of these presentations and discussions. They include quantitative ultrasonics, adhesives and composites, emissions related to failure prediction, residual stress. In addition a Mini-Symposium is presented related to Advances in Electromagnetic Transducers. It is believed that this document provides a reasonable summary of NDE research and development currently underway.
