Lightning Protection for W.R.E. Computer Cable Network.

Abstract

Following a violent thunderstorm, widespread damage occurred to terminal equipment connected via an underground cable distribution system to the W.R.E. Computer. This memo summarizes the results of investigations undertaken into available equipment and techniques which can be utilized to prevent similar damage in future thunderstorms. (Author)
