The AMRL Anthropometric Data Bank Library: Volumes 1-5

Abstract

This report describes the contents of Volumes I-V of the AMRL anthropometric Data Bank Library. Volumes I-IV consist of the data from four major usaf anthropometric surveys: the 1950 and 1967 surveys of flying personnel, the 1968 survey of USAF women, and the 1965 survey of male personnel. Volume V contains correlation coefficients based on these surveys, the 1946 survey of Army female separatees, the Health Examination Survey of 1960-62, and the law enforcement officer survey of 1974. Included are a description of the tape formats, definitions of the measurement variables, and XVAL listings for each tape. Names and serial numbers of all subjects have been omitted to preserve the confidential nature of the records.
