Electret Tape Detection System.

Abstract

This report covers the second phase of a program to investigate and develop a new line transducer concept based on an active ultrasonic electret tape transducer. It updates the computer model developed to assess the various transducer parameters. It describes an improved method that was developed for reliably charging electrets both uniformed and to a desired charge level. It also presents results obtained from laboratory tests of various electret tape transducer samples. (Author)
