An Algebra for the Realization of Switching Functions Using a Certain Type of MOS Package.

Abstract

Switching functions may be realized using a certain type of MOSFET circuit package, similar to the Fairchild 3102 package. This paper outlines the conditions that must be satisfied by a switching function so that it may be realized in a series-parallel form or in a bridge form using the least number of MOS elements in the package. Algorithms are given to obtain near optimal realizations when minimal realizations do not exist. (Author)
