The Representation of Suppression in the TRASANA AIDM,

Abstract

This working paper is the third in a series of three papers documenting methodology developed to extend the AMSAA Improved Differential Model (AIDM) as implemented at the TRADOC Systems Analysis Activity (TRASANA). This paper describes the extensions required to treat the effects of direct and indirect fire suppression. The first paper in this series (R1) discussed the representation of attack helicopters in AIDM, and the second paper in this series (R2) considered the extension to AIDM required to treat scout helicopters and information hand-off from one unit to another.
