On the Supposed Anticorrelation of Solar Polar and Equatorial Rotation Rates.

Abstract

This report discusses a result that was thought to be caused by correlated variations of the sun's rotation at different latitudes is known to be the result of crosstalk between two of the parameters used to fit the differential rotation.
