An Examination of Selected Digital Flightpath Generators.

Abstract

This report describes the findings of an investigative analysis of four flightpath generation computer models. The four models (FAIR PASS, FLYGEN, BLUE MAX and MCEP) are commonly used in the aircraft survivability/vulnerability community. The first three are primarily fixed-wing models, while MCEP is exclusively a rotary-wing flightpath generator. All four models were acquired, installed, tested, and analyzed at NWSC (Naval Weapons Support Center), Crane, IN. Criteria such as capabilities, limitations, ease and economy of use, and compatibility with attrition models were considered in the evaluations. (Author)
