Abstract

Development of a turbine/alternator (T/A) power supply which also provides a second arming signature for the 60-mm light-weight company mortar fuze, designated the xm734, has been advanced to include a production- engineered design. The xm734 fuze has undergone extensive advanced development testing, with the T/A having provided highly satisfactory operation. The xm734 T/A, described herein, is a cost-effective version of an earlier development model.
