Real-Time, Intermediate-Field Astrometry

Abstract

An experiment to test the accuracy of a very simple calibration scheme is described. It is concluded that a mean-offset, three-star calibration working from a catalog of 1600 reference stars can provide positional accuracy of ten seconds of arc with the ETS equipment.
