Building Heating Energy Consumption at Fixed Facilities.

Abstract

Oil delivery data were collected for twenty-four building types at three Army installations in the Washington, DC area. These data, collected for FY 75 and FY 76, were analyzed to determine the heating energy consumed by the different building types. The average heating energy consumption as well as the high and low samples were calculated and plotted for each building type. The report provides a basis for determining where the application of energy conservation techniques and the use of energy control systems is most cost effective. (Author)
