Parameter Studies Relative to an Electric Field-Induced Dipole Moment Laser.

Abstract

A high pressure optoacoustic cell has been calibrated over the pressure range from 5 to 35 atm using the pressure-induced absorption in N2. Attempts to measure electric field-induced absorption in N2 near 4.4 micrometers using a carbon arc source have been unsuccessful because of insufficient spectral power density. (Author)
