Surface Navy Applications of Millimeter Wave Sensors. Volume I. Design Trade-off Study.

Abstract

This report describes the design and construction of a test bed millimeter wave Dicke radiometer by the Naval Surface Weapons Center/Dahlgren Laboratory (NSWC/DL) during the first year of a planned two-year IED Millimeter Wave Sensor Program. The end goal of the program is to provide guidance, based on measurement data, for the selection and utilization of millimeter wave systems intended for Surface Navy applications.
