Secondary Relaxation Behavior of Some Diene Polymers.

Abstract

It has been found that below the glass transition temperature there are two distinct secondary loss peaks for the trans isomer of polybutadiene, but not for the cis isomer. The purpose of this work is to compare the dynamic mechanical loss curves of three polymers containing the diene groups in an effort to further scrutinize this interesting behavior.
