Research on Molecular Lasers

Abstract

The broad objectives of this research were to provide quantitative information concerning molecular and chemical lasers. The parameters dealt with were: new laser transitions and pumping schemes; laser gain and saturation parameters; measurements of relaxation and energy transfer between the translational, rotational, vibrational, and electronic modes of prominent laser molecules.
