The Lincoln Terminal System (LTS-5) a Brief Description

Abstract

The LTS-5, a self-contained, computer mediated training system, presents audio messages and visual images to a trainee and interprets the trainee's response which is entered via a keyboard. The basic subsystems of the LTS-5 are outlined, and the format of the student-machine interaction is described. The required support facilities are discussed. Several pictures of the LTS-5 are included.
