Development Concepts for the Navy Warfare Gaming System.

Abstract

This report contains a series of ten monographs that summarize analyses conducted to support planning and concept development for the new generation Navy Warfare Gaming System (NWGS) to be developed at the Naval War College. Topics covered include: an analysis of the structure and applications of computer-assited war games; an overview of the NWGS and other Navy war games and simulations; analyses of general development concepts for the NWGS; and analyses of issues to be considered in developing remote extensions of the NWGS.
