Segmented Least-Squares Solution for Biases, Bias Rates and Higher-Order Terms of Intersecting Altimetry Tracks,

Abstract

A segmented least-squares algorithm is presented which solves for biases, bias rates and higher-order terms of intersecting satellite altimetry tracks. Input data are geoid-height differences at the intersections. Step-by-step instructions for coding this algorithm are provided in an appendix.
