Computer Software for EWCS Performance Prediction.

Abstract

A computer program in FORTRAN IV language entitled PROGRAM PREDIC has been prepared. This calculates performance prediction and its 5 and 95 percent confidence levels for microwave terrestrial links (8 to 30 GHz) operating in the European Wideband Communication System (EWCS). This program predicts atmospheric attenuation, principally due to rain, at the indicated frequencies. (Author)
