Dimethylnitrosamine Detection and Measurement Using Laser Raman Spectroscopy

Abstract

The Raman spectra of various concentrations of dimethylnitrosamine (DMNA) in water have been measured. The lowest concentration detected was 10 ppm. Instrumental parameters were varied to optimize the signal response.
