Proceedings of the 1976 Symposium of the Potomac Chapter, Human Factors Society Training: Technology to Policy, Washington, DC, 25 May 1976

Abstract

The symposium examined the interrelationship between training technology, policy problems and policy planning. Training was traced from the inception, development, test and evaluation stages through the translation into policy and the implementation of that policy within selected groups within DOD, FCC, ONR, Honeywell Corp., Giant Foods, and U. of Maryland. Topics included were Notes on a Sequence of Models from Research through Implementation; Organizational Analysis--A necessary component for development and evaluation of training programs; Research Fundamental to Training of Personnel for Shipboard Work; and Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Electronic Troubleshooting Training--Development and Evaluation.
