Evaluation of an Insulated, Heated Medical Pannier for Use in the Field.

Abstract

An insulated heated pannier, developed in Norway, was laboratory and field tested to determine its suitability against Canadian requirements for a unit capable of protecting medical supplies against the effects of cold temperatures. At ambient temperatures as low as -40 C the pannier kept the contents warm, pliable and ready to use. (Author)
