Summer Faculty Systems Design Program. Integrating Wind Tunnels and Computers. Volume 2. Details of Summer Design Study USAF/OSR/ASEE

Abstract

The design problem that was selected for this report was the general area of the interaction bewteen developments in computers and the obtaining of design data from wind tunnels. The rather broad scope of this topic made it necessary to restrict the consideration of the study to the following areas: Control of the Tunnel Parameters for Wind Tunnel Tests; Control of Model Parameters; Improvements in Tunnel Simulation Qualities; and Computational Fluid Dynamics in the Design Cycle.
