Pulse Applications and Parameter Identification for U.S. Navy Medium- Weight Shock Machine

Abstract

The scope of this study covers the following two objectives: Provide the design for a mechanical-force pulse generator, specify associated hydraulic power unit and controls, and provide pulse-train profiles and mandrels; and Perform an exploratory parametric identification study of U.S. Navy medium- weight shock machine, test article, and impact loads using NRL-furnished data.
